1) WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO BE ALCOHOL FREE FOREVER, WILL THIS COURSE STILL BE HELPFUL? Absolutely! You do not have to commit to forever but you will be able to make an informed decision on whether taking a break from alcohol is worthwhile for you. Ditching alcohol is only one part of the course and you will learn essential tools that will help you generally in life, such as how to manage emotions, develop habits, find passions and hobbies, set goals and develop an alcohol free toolkit.
2) I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY RELATIONSHIP WITH ALCOHOL BUT I CERTAINLY DON'T HAVE A SERIOUS ISSUE, IS THIS COURSE FOR ME? This is a very common question that many people ask. There is a term grey area drinkers, which is anyone who is not teetotal or has not hit rock bottom, so everyone in between. It is a spectrum and you could be drinking very little but still feel alcohol is holding you back in some way. So, the question to ask is, "would my life be better emotionally and physically without alcohol?" If the answer is yes, then certainly this course is for you to at least explore if you'd like to make a change.
3) I DON'T THINK I HAVE TIME. We all MAKE time for the things that are important to us. If THIS is important, you will make the time for this too. The real question is: is this important for you? Also, have you considered how much longer it will take you to do this on your own? Will you keep trying to stop drinking and get to 5 or 7 days and then go back to old habits, as you don’t have the tools and resources to help you change.
